How do you convey the above qualities in a sweets shop without turning sticky?

Our point of departure was ‘Yoyo’, one of our recent typefaces that already looked like a box of assorted chocolates. Having modified the letterforms to suit composition purposes, we pepped the result up through the use of a balanced floral motif that surrounded it to create a medallion with a clin d’œuil to Victorian ornament. 

Chocolate treats and candy drops have never been so enticing.
