ISTD awards AlMohtaraf two Certificates of Excellence for the design of the books: "Sabab Akhar" and "Saudi Artists Today"13.10.2011 |
We are happy to announce that two of our published books, ‘Sabab Akhar’ and ‘Saudi Artists Today (www.mohtarafbooks.com) received the ISTD Certificates of Excellence for high standards of typographic achievement. It is an honorable recognition by the UKbased International Society of Typographic Designers. It is the only award scheme that specifically acknowledges typographic excellence across a broad range of design disciplines. The bi-annual, international competition attracted entries from 19 countries, of which twelve were represented in the final selection.
The entries were judged in June over three stages by an international panel, featuring Robert Boon (Inventory Studio), Simon Dixon (DixonBaxi), Tom Hingston (Tom Hingston Studio), Lynda Relph-Knight (Design Writer and Consultant) and Astrid Stavro (Astrid Stavro Design).
